Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 cup unsifted all-purpose flour 1 /4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup soft butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs,beaten
2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate,melted 3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts Powdered sugar
Directions
Sift together first 3 ingredients.
Work shorten-ing with spoon until fluffy and creamy; add sugar slowly, continuing to work until mixture is light.
Add eggs and chocolate.
Stir in flour mixture with nuts.
Turn into a well-greased pan 8"x8"x2" and bake at 350°F. 30â€â€35 minutes or until done.
Im-mediately cut into 2-inch squares with knife; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cool; remove from pan with broad spatula.
