Pecan Brownies Recipe
Hey there, this brownies recipe is sure to get you hooked to it! I prefer to make brownies as a dessert for all my family get-togethers. Trust me when I say, you have to try brownies.
Ingredients
1 cup butter or part shortening and part butter
2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
2 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate
2 cups sugar
1 cup sifted flour
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
Directions
Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler.
Add sugar and then eggs, beaten in 1 at a time.
Add flour; then add vanilla and pecans.
Bake in a greased 8xl2-inch pan at 350° for 40 minutes.
While brownies are still warm, ice with a chocolate-powdered sugar icing.
Brownies may also be iced with a can of Swel chocolate icing, substituting hot coffee for water and adding 1 tablespoon butter.
