Browned Rice And Chestnuts Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 can beef consomme | ||
| Hot Sauce | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Water chestnuts | 1 Can (10oz), chopped | |
Directions
Heat olive oil in skillet.
Brown onions lightly; add rice.
Cook, stirring constantly, until brown.
Add consomme, 1 can water and all remaining ingredients.
Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole; cover.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
