Browned Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound small firm potatoes | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Sugar | 2 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Boil potatoes in salted water in saucepan for 12 minutes or just until tender; drain and peel.
Press through sieve and rinse with cold water.
Melt sugar in skillet over very low heat.
Stir in butter.
Cook until mixture forms a light brown foam.
Add potatoes.
Cook for several minutes or until glazed and golden brown, shaking skillet gently to coat evenly.
Serve immediately.
