Brown Stew Recipe

Ingredients
175 grams (6 oz.) french beans
175 grams (6 oz.) carrots
175 grams (6 oz.) green peas
175 grams (6 oz.) cauliflower
175 grams (6oz.) potatoes
175 grams (6 oz.) small onions
3 large onions
2 tomatoes
1 tablespoon plain flour
3 cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
3 peppercorns
3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 tablespoons ghee, salt to taste
Directions
Slice the large onions.
Cut the other vegetables (except green peas) into big pieces.
Heat the ghee in a big vessel and fry the sliced onions until they are brown in colour.
Add the cinnamon, cloves and peppercorns and fry for 1 minute.
Add the vegetables except tomatoes and fry until they become brown.
Add 2 to 3 teacups of water and cook until the vegetables are done.
Mix the flour in 1/2 teacup of water and add to the stew.
After 2 minutes, add the tomatoes, sauce and salt and cook for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
