Brown Flour Soup Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon pepper
5 cups beef broth (dissolve 5 beef bouillon cubes in 5 cups boiling water)
Finely shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
Heat the butter in a large saucepan.
Blend in the flour and pepper.
Heat until bubbly.
Add the cooled broth gradually, stirring constantly.
Bring to boiling; cook covered, over low heat at least 20 minutes.
