Brown Tea Bread Recipe
Brown tea bread can be a perfect accompaniment for your tea. The brown tea bread is one of my bread favorites. You will like its taste for sure.

Ingredients
10 1/4 oz (290g) Trufree No. 5 flour
1 tablespoonful sunflower oil
1 sachet of yeast (provided with the flour)
8 fl oz (200ml) warm water
1 tablespoonful raw cane sugar
1 heaped tablespoonful raisins
1 heaped tablespoonful chopped walnuts
Grated rind of 1 orange
Directions
Preheat oven at 350°F/180°C (Gas Mark 4).
Put the flour into a mixing bowl and sprinkle in the oil and yeast.
Mix well.
Pour in the water and mix to a creamy batter.
Sprinkle in the sugar, fruit, nuts and rind.
Mix well.
Spoon into a greased 1 lb (1/2 kilo) loaf tin, size 6 x 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 in. (15 x9 x7cm).
Put immediately on to the top shelf of the oven and bake for about 1 hour.
Turn out of the tin carefully and cool on a wire rack.
Do not cut until cold as this loaf needs to 'set'.
Store in a clean, sealed polythene bag.
