Ingredients

 Standard pastry, 1/2 recipe
 Brown sugar or plain sugar, 3/4 cup
 Cornflour1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (For filling :)
 Water6 Tablespoon (For filling :)
 Lemon juice1 Tablespoon (For filling :)
 Butter2 Tablespoon (For filling :)
 Peaches750 Gram (For filling :)

Directions

Put all the above ingredients except pastry and peaches in a pan, and put them on a very slow fire.
Keep on stirring till it becomes thick and smooth like sauce.
Make a 9 1/2 inch pie crust.
Pour some sauce.
Carefully arrange peach halves on it.
Pour the remaining sauce.
If possible, make a criss cross pattern on the top.
Bake in hot oven (210°C) for about 30 minutes.
Chill, and serve cold.
