Brown Sugar Peach Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Standard pastry, 1/2 recipe | ||
| Brown sugar or plain sugar, 3/4 cup | ||
| Cornflour | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (For filling :) | |
| Water | 6 Tablespoon (For filling :) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon (For filling :) | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon (For filling :) | |
| Peaches | 750 Gram (For filling :) | |
Directions
Put all the above ingredients except pastry and peaches in a pan, and put them on a very slow fire.
Keep on stirring till it becomes thick and smooth like sauce.
Make a 9 1/2 inch pie crust.
Pour some sauce.
Carefully arrange peach halves on it.
Pour the remaining sauce.
If possible, make a criss cross pattern on the top.
Bake in hot oven (210°C) for about 30 minutes.
Chill, and serve cold.
