Brown Rice Vermicelli And Liver Pilaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken livers | 1 1/2 Pound, halved | |
| Mushrooms | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Onion | 4 Ounce, finley diced | |
| 1/2 medium green pepper, seeded and finely diced | ||
| 1 1/3 cups cooked toasted enriched vermicelli | ||
| Cooked brown rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs), toasted | |
| 1 cup tomato sauce, no sugar added | ||
| 1/2 cup chicken bouillon | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Place livers in broiler pan and broil 4 inches from source of heat 3 to 4 minutes, turning until all sides are browned.
Transfer to saucepan and add vegetables.
Cook 3 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes.
Divide evenly.
