Brown Rice Stuffing for Turkey Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 9 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Brown rice | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 medium-size onion, grated | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Poultry seasoning | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1.In a kettle, put water and 1 tablespoon salt.
2.Heat the mixture until it starts boiling.
3.Add rice and cook on low flame after covering.
4.Let the mixture cook for 45 minutes until the rice is soft.
5.Strain and keep the rice aside.
6.Take a medium sized skillet, heat butter or margarine in it.
7.Put onion and celery and cook until soft.
8.Add parsley, 2 tablespoons salt and poultry seasoning.
9.Drizzle the mixture over rice and mix gently.
SERVING
10.Serve warm in a dish.
