Brown Rice Ole Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Mushrooms | 4 Ounce, sliced | |
| Tomatoes | 2 , diced | |
| 2 cup beef bouillon | ||
| 1 cup brown rice raw | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 2/3 cup diced green chilies or 1 tsp. chili powder or 1/4 tsp. basil AND 1/4 tsp. oregano | ||
Directions
1. Saute onion, green pepper, and mushrooms until tender.
2. Add tomatoes and bouillon. Bring to a boil.
3. Add remaining ingredients.
4. Reduce heat. Simmer 45 to 60 minutes or until tender.
