Brown Rice Recipe
Ingredients
1 cap raw brown rice, rinsed and drained
2 to 3 cups water
Salt to taste
Directions
Put the rice, water, and salt in a saucepan, bring to a boil, cover tightly, and cook over low heat for 45 minutes, or until the rice is tender and has absorbed the liquid. Do not stir during cooking. (The larger amount of water will give a softer rice grain.)
