Brown Butter Icing Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 package 10X(confectioners' powdered) sugar, sifted
1/4 cup milk
Directions
1. Heat butter or margarine slowly in a medium-size saucepan until liquid bubbles up, is very foamy, then settles and is lightly browned. Remove from heat at once. (Watch carefully to pre-vent over-browning; browning takes only 3 to 5 minutes.)
2. Pour browned butter over 10X sugar in large bowl; mix until crumbly;.
3. Drizzle milk over; blend until smooth. Add 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls more milk, if needed, to make spreadable.
