Broiled Flank Steak With Potatoes Recipe

Directions
In small bowl, combine onion, barbecue sauce, garlic, ginger and 1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper; brush half of the mixture over top of steak.
Cut potatoes into 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick slices; arrange around steak.
Brush half of the oil over potatoes; sprinkle with half of the oregano, and salt and pepper to taste.
Broil 4 inches (10 cm) from heat for 5 minutes.
Turn steak over and brush with remaining barbecue sauce mixture; broil for 4 to 6 minutes or until desired doneness.
Remove steak to cutting board; tent with foil to keep warm.
Turn potatoes over; brush with remaining oil and sprinkle with remaining oregano.
Broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until crisp.
Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices; season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with potatoes.
