Broiled Chicken In Lemon Juice And Oregano Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 broiler-fryer chickens, cut up | ||
| Olive oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Juice of 2 lemons | ||
| Oregano | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), crushed | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Rinse chicken pieces and pat dry.
In a bowl, make a marinade by combining olive oil with lemon juice and oregano.
Dip each piece of chicken into the marinade.
Season with salt and pepper.
Marinate for several hours, or overnight if possible.
In a preheated broiler, place the chicken fleshy side down.
Broil about 6 inches from heat about 15 minutes, or until brown, basting frequently.
Turn once.
Broil until done.
