Broiled Turkey With Raspberry Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 boneless turkey breast tenderloin steaks (about 1 1/2 pounds total) | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 10-ounce package frozen red raspberries, thawed | ||
| Dry white wine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tablespoon orange liqueur or orange juice | ||
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Rinse turkey, then pat dry with paper towels.
Place on a rack in an unheated broiler pan.
Combine lemon juice, water, and soy sauce.
Brush turkey with lemon mixture.
Broil 5 inches from the heat for 6 minutes.
Turn and broil about 6 minutes more or till tender, brushing occasionally with lemon mixture.
Meanwhile, place thawed raspberries in a blender container or food processor bowl.
Cover and blend till smooth.
Sieve; discard seeds.
In a saucepan combine wine, orange liqueur or orange juice, and cornstarch.
Add sieved raspberries.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly, then cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Serve sauce with turkey.
Garnish with fresh berries, if desired.
