Broiled Tomatoes With Cilantro Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 medium tomatoes, cut into 8 slices, 1/2" thick | ||
| 2 tablespoons nonfat Italian salad dressing | ||
| 1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro or parsley | ||
| Lime juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| Cilantro or parsley sprigs | ||
Directions
Place the tomato slices on the rack in a broiler pan; set aside.
In a small bowl, stir together the Italian dressing, minced cilantro or parsley, lime juice and pepper.
Spoon on top of the tomato slices.
Broil about 4" from the heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until the tomatoes are heated through.
Arrange two tomato slices on each dinner plate and garnish with the cilantro or parsley sprigs.
