Ingredients

 
2 cups plain low fat yogurt
 
3 green onions, chopped fine
 
1 bunch radishes, trimmed and chopped
 
3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
 
1/4 teaspoon each ground cumin and black pepper
 
2 teaspoons lemon juice
 
2 teaspoons olive or vegetable oil
 
4 salmon, swordfish, or halibut steaks
 
Lemon wedges

Directions

Preheat the broiler and lightly grease the broiler pan rack.
In a medium size bowl, combine the yogurt, green onions, radishes, horseradish, cumin, and 1/8 teaspoon of the pepper; mix well and set aside.
Combine the lemon juice, olive oil, and remaining pepper and brush the mixture over both sides of the salmon steaks.
Place the steaks on the broiler pan rack and broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until the salmon is opaque when cut near the center.
