Broiled Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
| 8 large fresh mushrooms, about 1/4 pound | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |

Directions
1. Scrub the mushrooms and rinse thoroughly. Cut caps from stems.
2. Melt half the butter or margarine and, using a brush, coat the mushroom caps. (The stems should be saved for soup or sauces.)
3. Place the caps, rounded side down, on a greased broiler pan and broil 3 or 4 minutes. Turn them and broil the same length of time.
4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and place 1 teaspoon butter or margarine in each cap. Leave in the broiler until the butter or margarine melts.
