Ingredients
Onions - 1/2 cup, chopped
Garlic clove - 1, minced
Chili peppers - 3/4 teaspoon, dried and ground
Ginger - 2 teaspoons, powdered
Saffron - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 2 teaspoon
Coconut cream - 1 cup
Club steaks - 4 (1/2-inch thick), cut in half crosswise
Directions
GETTING READY
1) In a bowl, pound the onions, garlic, chili peppers, ginger, saffron, and salt. You may also chop them to a paste.
2) To this, stir in the coconut cream. Mix well.
3) In this mixture, marinate the meat for 3 hours. Turn the steaks frequently.
4) After 3 hours, drain well and reserve the marinade.
MAKING
5) In a pan, cook the marinade over low heat till heated through.
6) Meanwhile, broil the steaks to your taste. Adjust the broiling time to the desired degree of rareness.
SERVING
7) Serve the steaks with the hot marinade.
