Broiled Ham Steak With Pineapple And Mustard Glaze Recipe
Ingredients
| Juice | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Dry mustard | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Steak | 1 1/2 pound |
Directions
1 Preheat the broiler. Line a broiler pan with foil.
2 D rain the pineapple, reserving 4 tablespoons of the juice.
3 In a small bowl, combine the reserved pineapple juice, mustard, sugar, cloves and pepper to make the glaze.
4 Place the ham steak on the broiler pan and brush the top with half of the glaze. Broil 4 inches from the heat for 7 minutes, or until golden.
5 Turn the steak over and brush with half of the remaining glaze. Arrange the pineapple rings on top of the steak and brush them with the remaining glaze.
6 Broil 4 inches from the heat for 7 minutes longer, or until the pineapple is light golden around the edges.
