Broiled Fruits With Sugar Crust Recipe
Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter, softened
2 oranges, diced
1 large banana, sliced
3 pears, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 apple, cored and thinly sliced
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
6 tablespoons melted butter
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind, or more
Directions
Arrange fruits in a buttered 10-inch baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients.
Sprinkle over fruit.
Broil about 8 inches from heat for 8-10 minutes or until mixture is melted and bubbly.
Cool 10 minutes before serving.
