Broiled Fresh Fruit Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 medium apples, cored and sliced 1/2 inch thick, or 4 medium peaches, pared, pitted, and sliced, or 2 medium bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 teaspoon coconut or walnut extract (optional) | ||
Directions
In bowl toss fruit with lemon juice.
Arrange on broiler pan.
Broil until tender, turning once.
Allow about 5 minutes for apples and bananas, and 6 to 8 minutes for peaches, or until fruit is tender.
Sprinkle with extract before serving, if desired.
Divide evenly.
