Broiled Fish Amandine Recipe
Ingredients
| Perch or trout - 2 packages (12-ounce each) frozen , (or any fresh fish fillets - 2 pounds) | ||
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Bon Appetit - 1 teaspoon | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Onion powder - dash | ||
| Black pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg - dash | ||
| Paprika - dash | ||
| Blanched almonds | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley flakes | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the broiler.
MAKING
2) Brush the fresh or thawed fish fillets with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
3) Sprinkle the fish fillets with a mixture of all the seasonings.
4) In a well greased broiler pan, place the fillets with the skin side down.
5) Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 10 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily.
6) In a skillet, saute the almonds in rest of the butter, until golden brown.
7) Then stir in the lemon juice and spoon over the fish fillets.
SERVING
8) Sprinkle the Broiled Fish Amandine with parsley flakes and serve immediately.
