Ingredients
1/2 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 tablespoon red-wine vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire
1 teaspoon sugar

1 beef chuck 7-bone steak, 1 1/4 inches thick
Unseasoned meat tenderizer
2 tablespoons salad oil
4 green peppers, cut into 1/2-inch-wide strips
4 large onions, sliced
1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper
1 medium-sized tomato, cut into thin wedges
Directions
1. Preheat broiler if manufacturer directs. In small bowl, combine chili sauce, mustard, vinegar, Worcestershire, sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon oregano; set mixture aside.
2. Place beef chuck 7-bone steak on rack in broiling pan. Sprinkle steak with meat tenderizer as label directs. Broil steak 10 minutes; brush half of chili-sauce mixture on steak; broil 5 minutes longer. Turn steak; broil 10 minutes. Brush steak with remaining sauce; broil 5 minutes longer for rare or until of desired done-ness.
3. Meanwhile, in 5-quart Dutch oven or sauce-pot over medium heat, in hot salad oil, cook green peppers, onions, pepper, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon oregano until vegetables are tender, stirring frequently. Add tomato wedges; heat through.
