Broiled Chicken Modified Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 (2- to 2 1/2-pound) broiler-fryer chicken, quartered | ||

Directions
Combine butter and lemon juice, if desired; brush over chicken halves.
Season with salt and pepper.
Place skin side down on a rack that stands 3 to 4 inches above the bottom of a shallow baking pan.
Bake at 425° about 1 hour (20 or 30 minutes per pound).
