Broiled Cheese & Fruit Plate Recipe
Ingredients
| Salad oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tablespoons raspberry or red wine vinegar | ||
| Honey | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Seedless grapes | 1 Cup (16 tbs), rinsed | |
| 1 medium-size Asian or Bartlett pear, cored and thinly sliced | ||
| Brie cheese piece | 1 , cut in half | |
| 4 cups bite-size pieces butter lettuce, rinsed and crisped | ||
Directions
In a large bowl, mix oil, vinegar, and honey.
Add grapes and pear; stir to coat.
Place cheese pieces slightly apart in an 8- or 9-inch pie pan.
Brush cheese with about 1 tablespoon of the dressing from the fruit mixture.
Broil about 4 inches below heat until cheese is warm and begins to melt around edges (about 2 minutes).
Add lettuce to fruit mixture.
Mix well, then divide between 2 dinner plates.
With a wide spatula, lift warm cheese from pan; place one piece on each salad.
