Broiled Boneless Shad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2-2 pounds boneless shad | ||
| Juice of 1 large lemon | ||
| 2 tablespoons butter, in small pieces | ||
| Lemons | 2 , cut into wedges | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Generously butter an ovenproof dish and lay shad in dish skin side down.
Salt and pepper the shad to taste and sprinkle lemon juice over.
Dot with pieces of butter and place in a preheated broiler 4 inches from source of heat.
Broil for approximately 5 minutes.
