Broccoli With Parsley-Pepper Sauce Recipe

No one can stop at just one is my claim for this recipe of Broccoli With Parsley-pepper Sauce. Best enjoyed as a Side Dish this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. When you are following Low Fat diet then eat this Broccoli With Parsley-pepper Sauce. In my view, to call yourself a chef, you need to have a personal recipe of Broccoli With Parsley-pepper Sauce, just like I do.

Ingredients

 
2 medium red bell peppers, seeded, cored, and cut in chunks
 
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
 
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
 
2 cloves garlic, minced
 
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
 
1/4 cup lemon juice
 
2 cups broccoli florets
 
1/2 teaspoon paprika

Directions

Place bell pepper chunks and garlic in a microwave-safe bowl.
Cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave on high for 7 minutes.
Place bell pepper and garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cayenne, black pepper, and parsley in a blender or food processor and puree.
Place broccoli and bell pepper puree in a microwave-safe bowl.
Cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave for 8 minutes.
Variations Substitute 2 cups brussels sprouts, bottoms trimmed, for the broccoli.
Substitute 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger for the paprika and cayenne.
Substitute cauliflower for the broccoli.
