Cut broccoli stalks lengthwise into thin spears.
Place steamer basket in 1/2 inch water in saucepan or skillet (water should not touch bottom of basket).
Place broccoli in basket.
Cover tightly and heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Steam until tender, about 15 minutes.
Cover and refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.
Sprinkle mayonnaise mixture with paprika; serve with broccoli.
â–¡ Microwave Directions: Cut broccoli stalks lengthwise into thin spears.
Place 1/4 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon salt in microwavable dish, 12x7 1/2x2 inches, or pie plate, 10x l 1/2 inches.
Arrange broccoli spears lengthwise in dish with flowery ends in center of dish.
Or arrange in circle in pie plate with flowery ends in center of plate.
Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) 4 minutes; rotate dish 1/2 turn.
Microwave until tender, 3 to 5 minutes longer; drain.
