Broccoli Toast Recipe
Broccoli Toast is one of the most yummy toasts I have come across. Not surprisingly, my broccoli hater husband have developed an addiction for Broccoli Toast. Try them for yourself!

1/2 pound fresh broccoli
l1/2 cups beef broth (made from cubes or instant)
4 slices white bread, toasted
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup milk White pepper
Salt
Nutmeg
2 hard-boiled eggs
Pimiento strips for garnish
Parsley sprigs for garnish
Directions
Clean and wash broccoli; cut into bite-size pieces.
Bring beef broth to a boil, add broccoli, and cook for 20 minutes.
Drain thoroughly.
Top toasted bread with broccoli.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce by melting butter, stirring in flour, and gradually adding milk.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Season to taste with white pepper, salt, and nutmeg.
Chop 1 egg; stir into sauce.
Pour sauce over broccoli toast.
Place on oven tray; top brown until nicely browned, approximately 3 minutes.
Garnish with hard-boiled egg slices, pimiento strips, and parsley sprigs.
