Broccoli Shrimp Soup Recipe
Here I am posting an easy and healthy broccoli shrimp soup recipe for you. This soup is equally liked by my friends as well, and whenever we meet on holidays we surely try this soup. It really tastes good. If you too want to enjoy your holiday, you can try out this broccoli shrimp soup recipe.
Ingredients
1/2 c. butter
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. milk
1 pkg. frozen broccoli, thaw partially
1 can shrimp, drained
2 tbsp. chopped chives
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 c. sour cream
Directions
Stage1-In a bowl, melt butter.
Stage2-Add onions and cook until almost tender, about 5 minutes.
Stage3-Blend flour and 1 cup milk, gradually add remaining milk.
Stage4-Cook until milk bubbles and thickens slightly about 10 minutes.
Stage5-Add broccoli, shrimp, chives, salt and celery salt.
Stage6-Cook covered, 7 minutes, until broccoli is tender, but slightly crisp.
Stage7-Do not overcook. Mix in sour cream. Heat but do not boil.
