Broccoli With Sicilian Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil, heated
1 medium size onion, thinly sliced
1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
1 cup chicken bouillon
4 anchovy filets, chopped
1/2 cup sliced ripe olives
2 cups shredded American pasteurized process cheese
2 (10-ounce) packages frozen broccoli, cooked
Directions
Combine olive oil, onion, and garlic in a saucepan; cook until onion is softened but not browned.
Blend in flour, salt, and pepper.
Add chicken bouillon and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
Add anchovies, olives, and cheese.
Stir only until cheese melts.
