Broccoli Stuffed Cannoli Pie Recipe

Bread dough 500 gms
 
Garlic 1 clove
 
Smoked Provola cheese 1 portion
 
Olive oil 4 tbsp
 
Broccoli 1 kg
 
Salt a pinch
 
Sausages 200 gms
 
Flour 2 tbsp

Directions

Boil the broccoli in a little hot water for 5 to 10 minutes.
Saute the garlic in a pan.
Skin and dice the sausage and add to the pan and cook for 5 minutes stirring with a wooden spoon.
Add the broccoli and toss for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring well.
Dice the Provola cheese.
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Line a rectangular oven dish, to be taken to table, with oven paper.
Sprinkle a little flour onto a board.
Roll the dough out to a 1 cm.
thickness.
Cut out squares of 10 cm.
Put the vegetable and sausage mixture on top.
Then add the diced Provola cheese.
Stick the two opposite corners of the square together to form a diagonal pie.
Repeat until all the dough and fillings are used up.
Arrange the cannoli on the oven dish, one next to the other.
Bake for 15 minutes and serve at the table in the same dish.
