Broccoli Soup Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli
 
1 1/2 cups milk
 
3 tablespoons margarine or butter
 
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
 
Pinch of oregano or parsley flakes
 
3/4 teaspoon curry powder
 
1 tablespoon lemon juice
 
Salt and pepper to taste
 
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch (optional)

Directions

Cook broccoli as directed on package.
Drain.
Puree broccoli in electric blender.
Add milk, butter, onion (soaked 10 minutes in 3 tablespoons water), oregano, curry powder, lemon, salt and pepper.
Sample and adjust seasonings.
