Broccoli & Bacon Recipe

1 pound broccoli
 
4 slices bacon
 
1/4 cup minced green onions
 
3/4 cup dry bread crumbs

Directions

Peel and split broccoli stems; cook whole branches in boiling, salted water just until tender.
Drain.
While broccoli is cooking, fry bacon until crisp; drain on paper toweling and crumble.
Cook green onions in the bacon drippings until wilted; stir in bread crumbs; mix well.
Arrange hot broccoli on a hot platter; sprinkle with crumbled bacon, onion, and crumbs.
