 Butter60 Milliliter
 60 ml flour, all purpose
 Chicken broth750 Milliliter
 Milk750 Milliliter
 Salt3 Milliliter
 Pepper white3 Milliliter
 Broccoli florets500 Milliliter, blanched
 750 ml sharp cheddar, graded

Directions

In a large pot or dutch oven, heat the butter, add the flour and reduce the heat.
Cook 2 minutes.
Add the broth, milk, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in the broccoli and cheese.
Continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve soup at once.
