Broccoli and Cauliflower with Shrimp Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Broccoli | 1 | |
| Cauliflower | 1 | |
| Cream Cheese - 1(3 ounce) with chives cubed | ||
| Canned Cream of Shrimp Sauce - 1(10 3/4 ounce), undiluted | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Shrimp | 1 , canned | |
| Slivered almonds | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), toasted | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Cut off the large leaves of the broccoli
2) Under running water, break the florets
MAKING
3) Place the broccoli and cauliflower florets into salted boiling water
4) Cover and simmer at low heat for 8 minutes
5) Drain the florets and keep aside
6) Mix together the cream cheese, soup, lemon juice into a saucepan
7) Cook over a medium heat, till the cheese melts
8) Take off from the heat and add in the shrimp
9) Place the cauliflower in center of a serving plate
10) Arrange the broccoli around the edges
11) Spoon the sauce on the top
SERVING
12) Top with slivered almonds and serve warm
