Broad Beans OR Fava beans (fresh if they are available in season ) cooked in olive oil - One Kilo ( About 2 pounds)
 
Olive Oil
 
Diced Large Onion
 
Fresh Cilantro
 
Minced Garlic
 
Salt and Black pepper to taste

Directions

MAKING
1. Sauté onions in olive oil
2. Add fresh or frozen broad beans and cook until done. Make sure they are firm and not mushy at the end of the cooking processes
3. Season with salt and pepper
4. Add fresh chopped cilantro and garlic towards the end of the cooking periodIt takes around 3040 minutes to cook this dish.

SERVING
5. Serve with fresh lemons on the side and pita bread.
6. Enjoy!

Note : I usually cook beans with the shell, I just take the ends off and I peel the strings on the sides. If fresh broad beans are not in season, you may use frozen ones.
