Bristol Pears Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 310 Milliliter | |
| Granulated Sugar | 310 Milliliter | |
| Vanilla | 5 Milliliter | |
| Pears | 6 , pared | |
| 750 ml French Vanilla Ice Cream | ||
| Raspberry sauce | 500 Milliliter | |
| 500 ml very small strawberries - hulled, washed | ||
| Whipping cream | 375 Milliliter, Whipped | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, vanilla, let it boil and then reduce heat and allow it to simmer.
2) Poach pears in the simmering syrup, then drain, cool, and chill it.
3) In champagne glasses, place 1/2 cup ice cream, top with pear, smother with sauce, and garnish with strawberries.
SERVING
4) Top with whipped cream and serve.
