Brisket Of Beef Recipe
Ingredients
3 to 4 lb. boneless beef brisket
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. onion salt
2 Tbsp. Liquid Smoke
2 tsp. black pepper
1 cup barbecue sauce
Directions
Mix together salt, celery seed, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, onion salt, Liquid Smoke and black pepper.
Spread mixture on brisket.
Wrap in heavy duty foil and refrigerate overnight.
When ready to cook, preheat oven to 275°.
Place meat in shallow baking pan, add 1 cup barbecue sauce (more, if more gravy is desired), cover with foil, bake 3 1/2 hours covered.
Uncover and bake an additional hour.
