Breakfast Casserole Recipe
This breakfast casserole is an easy and filling casserole made with bread, sausage and eggs. Topped off with generous sprinkling of cheese, this breakfast cassserole is easily made in the oven and keeps you full for a long time.
Ingredients
6 slices bread
Margarine
1 lb. sausage
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 1/2 Tbsp. Salt
Directions
Grease 9 x 12 inch casserole dish.
Remove crusts from bread and lightly spread with margarine.
Line casserole with bread.
Cook and drain sausage; spoon sausage over bread.
Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
Mix eggs, milk and salt; pour over cheese.
Chill overnight.
Remove 15 minutes before cooking.
Cook for 50 minutes at 350°.
