Breadstick Dippers Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 2 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), divided | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Double-acting baking powder - 2 tsp | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Skim milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Low cal margarine - 1/4 cup, molten | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 425° F
MAKING
2. In a medium bowl, sift together two cups of flour, the sugar, baking powder and salt
3. Mix milk into it and mix well into a dough, suing a wooden spoon; turn the dough out of a flour-dusted surface and knead till smooth and elastic
4. With a rolling pin, roll the dough into a 12"X8" rectangle, half an inch in thickness; halve it along with the length
5. Cut each half across and cut each half again into eighteen equal slices; dip these slices each into margarine
6. Place these slices on a baking sheet with an inch of space between each and bake for fifteen minutes till golden brown
