Breaded Veal Cutlets Recipe
Ingredients
4 veal cutlets 1/2" thick
1 egg
Seasoned bread or cracker crumbs
2 tbsp. water
3-4 tbsp. butter or dripping
Directions
1. Wipe cutlets with a damp cloth.
2. Beat egg slightly, add water.
3. Dip cutlets in crumbs then in egg mixture and again in crumbs.
4. Brown the cutlets in hot fat.
5. Cook covered over very low heat or in a moderate oven, 325°, until tender, about 1/2 hour.
