Bread Apple Pudding Recipe
The Bread Apple Pudding is simply irresistible. This tasty pudding is not only a personal favorite but also one that has got me quiet a few cookery awards! Try this wonderful Bread Apple Pudding recipe. I am sure you will love it!
Ingredients
1/4 lb. margarine 125 g
2 green apples, peeled & diced
1 tsp. cinnamon 2 mL
4 slices bread, diced in 1/4" 4 slices
5 eggs
1 c. sugar 250 mL
2 c. milk 500 mL
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a medium saucepan melt the margarine and add the apples; cook until soft, sprinkle with cinnamon and remove from heat.
Add the bread cubes and mix lightly.
Transfer this mixture to the bottom of a greased ring mold.
Beat together the eggs, sugar and milk and pour over the bread and apple mixture.
Bake in a hot water bath for approximately 40-50 minutes.
Serve either cold or warm.
