Directions

Grease a baking dish with melted butter and break the bread slices into small pieces in the baking dish. Drizzle the remaining butter on the bread. Sprinkle the raisins on top.

In a bowl, combine eggs and milk and mix well. Add cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder (optional) sugar and vanilla extract and continue whisking until all the ingredients have blended well.

Pour the mixture over the bread and press the bread with a spatula until the bread has crumbled and absorbed the mixture properly.

Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes or until the top crust has browned well/ pudding comes off from corners of the baking dish.

Serve Warm or Cool with sauce of your choice or just plain.
