Bread Pudding With Cheese Recipe
Ingredients

| 1 1/2 cups packed dark brown sugar | ||

| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |

| 1/2 cup pine nuts or chopped almonds | ||
| 2 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced | ||
| Shredded monterey jack cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
In medium saucepan bring the water, brown sugar, and cinnamon to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 3 minutes.
Stir in butter.
Cut toast in 1-inch pieces; fold into the sugar mixture along with raisins and nuts.
Place half of the mixture in bottom of 8 x 8 x 2-inch square baking dish, top with apples, then remaining toast mixture.
Cover and bake in 350° oven for 20 minutes.
Uncover and sprinkle with cheese.
