Fruity Bread Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
| Eggs | 4 standard | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or finely shredded orange peel | ||
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 1/2 cups dry bread cubes | ||
| 1/3 cup raisins or snipped dried apricots | ||
Directions
In mixing bowl beat together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon or orange peel, vanilla, and salt.
Place bread cubes in an 8x1 1/2-inch round baking dish.
Sprinkle raisins or apricots over bread.
Pour egg mixture over all.
Bake at 325° till knife inserted off-center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool slightly.
