Bread Pudding Recipe
Bread Pudding is loved by many desserts. I had prepared this Bread Pudding and it turned out to be very well. Bread Pudding gets its taste from bread mixed with milk and eggs and topped with raisins.
Ingredients
1 (1 pound) loaf French bread or sliced white bread
1 quart milk
3 eggs, beaten slightly
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup raisins
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Whiskey Sauce
Directions
Break bread into small chunks, and put in a large bowl.
Add milk, and let soak about 10 minutes; crush with hands until blended.
Add eggs, sugar, raisins, and vanilla.
Pour butter into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
Spoon pudding mixture into pan; bake at 325° for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes or until pudding is very firm.
Let mixture cool; then cut into squares.
Place in dessert dishes, and spoon Whiskey Sauce over each serving.
