Bread Dressing Recipe
This bread dressing recipe is a vegetable and bread dressing recipe. Prepared with broth and oodles of butter, the bread dressing is baked to prepare and can be used with meats of choice.
Ingredients
| 1 (1 pound) loaf day old bread, cubed | ||
| Poultry seasoning | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup canned diluted chicken broth | ||
| 2 eggs, slightly beaten | ||
| Onion | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Celery | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
Directions
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; set aside.
Saute onion and celery in butter until tender.
Add to bread mixture, stirring well.
Spoon into a lightly greased 2 quart casserole.
Cover and bake at 325° for 20 minutes.
